Myofascial/Soft Tissue Release
Myofascial and soft tissue release are techniques used to treat muscle tightness, pain, and dysfunction. Both improve blood flow and relax tight muscles.
Myofascial release targets the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles), aiming to relieve tension and improve mobility by applying sustained pressure to tight areas or trigger points.
Soft tissue mobilization involves applying pressure to muscles and other soft tissues while the patient actively moves the body part to stretch and release muscle tightness.
